You can download the new Mono™ Windows™ installer from here. This one includes mono+mcs from CVS and creates the .bat files in the installation 'bin' directory instead of the Windows base directory, thus allowing for more than one mono installation. The size is 25% smaller than the latest beta 1 installer.
UPDATE: It fails when dealing with configuration files (machine.config). I will fix it ASAP.
